TASICO PLANT is a specialized company in the production of horticultural seedlings in cell trays for both professional and hobbyist agriculture. Founded by three passionate young farmers, their mission was to modernize the horticultural plant transplant system and enhance the quality and uniformity of the harvests. Throughout its over 30 years of experience, the company has adapted to the changing needs of its customers and introduced innovative crops, such as watermelon grafted onto pumpkin rootstock.

The company has received various awards in recognition of its work, including the National FIMA’91 Award for group agriculture, the Special Award from the Directorate General of Training and Agricultural Research for “Youth Cooperativism,” and the accolade for Best Company in Els Ports and Maestrat at the PYME’97 awards.

It is located in Benicarló, Castellón, in a coastal area that provides a temperate climate with minimal temperature fluctuations. It occupies a 7-hectare estate and features state-of-the-art greenhouses spanning 25,000 square meters. These are equipped with fertigation irrigation systems, heating, photoperiod lighting, humidification, ventilation, among other technologies. Additionally, they have another 4,000 square meters of greenhouses with mesh covering.

Regarding their main activity, Tasico Plant starts with certified seeds that have high germination rates. They employ automatic seeding lines and germination chambers with controlled conditions to ensure optimal plant growth. They strategically distribute the seeded trays within their facilities to maximize the growth and development of the plants. They offer a variety of species and varieties adapted to the season and different cultivation zones, ensuring a final harvest of quality.
