In 1980, the engineer Heribert Jachertz started a small family business dedicated to the production of cacti and succulents, both for the Spanish and foreign markets. Over the years, the area under cultivation grew and increased.

In 2007, Deltaplant was renamed Deltacactus SL. under the leadership of ornamental horticultural technician Christian Jachertz, the company has grown to an annual production of nine million succulents and a cultivated area of 23,000 square metres. Its business growth has been accompanied by a high technical level, the result of experience and the willingness to rely on expert knowledge.
